CITIZENS WILLING TO GET INVOLVED IN
THEIR COMMUNITY ARE
WANTED
THE DIETRICH CITY COUNCIL
WOULD LIKE TO ESTABLISH THE FOLLOWING COMMITTEES

1) DOG ORDINANCE COMMITTEE -
Due to the increase in residents and their animals there is a growing
concern that the city needs a dog ordinance. This committee would be
required to create a dog ordinance and establish rules and regulations
to enforce the ordinance. It will be reviewed by the city council following
proper procedures before adoption.

2) IRRIGATION COMMITTEE -
This committee would be required to research and develop a plan for an
efficient surface water irrigation system that would benefit the residents of the city.
      - Study the cost of irrigation water vs. city water.
      - Devise a method for billing of the irrigation water.
      - Allow all residents an alternative for watering lawns.
This would result in the decrease in use of the city well for watering lawns,
allow for growth within the community, and also make the community appearance
a positive one with green lawns vs. weeds.

Any persons interested in getting involved please contact a City Council member or the Mayor.
