This map is the result of public input at a joint city/county public hearing
held at the Dietrich
Grange Hall on June 24, 2003. On July 7, 2003, the Dietrich City Council
approved this map to
be submitted to the Lincoln County Commission for joint adoption as the Area of
City Impact for
Dietrich. This map was adopted on January 16, 2004 as part of City Ordinance
Number 59.
The
Area of City Impact
for Dietrich is defined as S ½ S ½ of Section 1, Section 12, N ½ of
Section 13, and E ½ NE ¼ of Section 14 of Township 6 South Range 18 East B.M.
(The base
map came from U.S. BLM, Surface Management Status Map, Idaho, Twin Falls, 1994
edition.)
